Party at Gails' house ends in massive argument as I teach Karin how to dance...

What more can I say except... Gail, I can dance to a lot more than Reggae music... I can Charlston as well... This is the party we had after Karin, Gail and myself decided that, partly due to the increase security in London after the US Terrorist attacks, and also because the people in London are way to tight... If you know what I mean... (continued below)

We were about to start using third choice locations... It was breaking my heart after all the struggle and angst and making Karin and Gail totally depressed... An example of this is was for the Hotel Scenes, we found a fantastic location, we told them truthfully what the story was about... Religion, Genocide, TV Cameramen, Jesus Christ, etc.... and they backed out... Actually the P.R. person did without even reading the letter and script we faxed... Gail and I gave her some sh*t over that by talking to the C.E.O. in the America... The General Manager rang back with in a half hour... but it was a no win situation... Then we incredible found another brilliant Hotel location... We went round to see it, we could have shot 3 different locations in the same place, the General Manager was great, no problem, just organize it with the P.R. Department... I was really, really pleased... Then the news came back that they wanted a massive location fee... This is from a hotel that is only 3 months old and is running at only 30% capacity...

The whole story repeated itself again with the Trendy Bar Scene... So I decided 'enough was enough' of shooting in London, we kept on having to put the schedule further back as the locations dropped... It was starting to piss a lot of people off... When I called it we were half way through the Hotel shoot, which was far from ideal... in fact it was a compromise...

After getting back from Mississippi... I, for one, was totally exhausted, more exhausted than I have ever been, and starting to make mistakes... So we shut down production for 2 weeks and then I have another 2 weeks to find the locations up in Liverpool and Manchester... Both places where people are a lot more helpful to Independent Film-makers... Well they were when I made my first film! ...We'll have to see if this still holds true...
